The one of new telecommunication technology is WiMAX, which is everyone talks about. WiMAX is a new technology from WiMAX Forum which becomes topic of discussions and researches in many countries. The good quality and some technical spesification offered, WiMAX is judged will be solution of fast and reliable data services. Some technologies which are derivated from WiMAX, has been released by vendors. Indonesia as a developing country is the one of the countries that deploying WiMAX. Indonesia who has different standard of WiMAX than WiMAX Forum, want to make many good telecommunication business players and the pioneer of it. <br /> <br /> <br /> The purpose of the research is how to know business realibility of WiMAX in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. WiMAX can be called 2,3 GHz Broadband Wireless Access here. The result of this research is based on regulation and standard’s regulator, the Implementation of WiMAX in Jakarta is not reliable for business implementation. <br /> <br /> <br /> Better investment comes from modification of some component. They are adjustmen in regulation and government standard, adjustmen market, and adjustmen cost.
