IDENTIFIKASI FAKTOR UTAMA PENYEBAB PENYIMPANGAN ARAH PERKEMBANGAN KOTA SOREANG

The deviation of physical direction of Soreang city to the north east to Bandung tends to deviate from the developed plan of city. It can <br /> be seen as many undeveloped areas in the south area while on the north east area to Bandung has been developed more before its planing. It <br /> will result the conurbation between developed area of Soreang and Bandung city, besides making the role of Sorcang city weak as a counter <br /> magnet of Bandung city. Thus, it is needed an action to stop or to prevent the next deviation by the local govennunent. However, this action <br /> can not be employed well since the main factor has not been identified. The objective of this study is to identify the main factor which <br /> influence the deviation of physical direction of Soreang city, and expect to be a thought of the local government in arranging the policy. <br /> The conclusion of this study indicates that the main factor which influences the deviation of physical direction of Soreang city is the <br /> decline of sentripetal factor of Sorcang city caused by the low grade of regional accessibility to Sorcang. Tlie second important factor is the high grade of sentripetal of Bandung-Sorcang roadway region which is <br /> caused by the wider of work opportunities in this region as supposed by local government policy to be a mix area. Based on this fact, this study recommends the local government to stop the micro policy in Bandung-Soreang region. Futhermore, local govenunent should arrange the macro policy which mainly focus on wider region\'s interest, so the physical <br /> ,iirection of Soreang city can developed well. This action can be supported by intervention of both appropriate incentives and ,iisincentiyes suit to the main factor and other important factors which \':.i~ N--en identified.
