Summary:To determine the characteristics of the reservoir, various analysis can be done, one of them is by well testing data analysis. Well testing is a method for obtaining various information dynamically. One of the well testing process is drawdown test. In this process, the well was temporarily closed, and then opened and allowed to producing, when the well was opened, the pressure in the well will be decrease. In using linearization, the permeability can be estimated by regression method. Regression method perfomed in batch which data processing is done simultaneously at the same time. In this final project, the proposed approach was Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) method to determine the estimated parameters of a permeability of the bounded reservoir where the data analysis was done by updating in a sequential manner according to the dynamic data (pressure). Results of data analysis using EnKF method did not differ significantly from the regression method. So that the EnKF method can be applied to the problem of well testing (drawdown test).
