| Summary: | In this final project, we present the concept of 2-norms and 2-functionals. We define the concept of linear 2-functionals and bounded linear 2-functionals as an extension, and we also give definition of the 2-dual space. We introduce the 2-dual space of lp when lp is equipped by Gahlers 2-norm or Gunawans 2-norm, and relation between them. We give the example of 2-norms defined by bounded linear 2-functionals and their equivalence with Gahler 2-norm in the lp space. Furthermore, we give the generalization of all result for n-norms briely. |
