Summary: | Coastal area helds potential of unique ecosystem and landscape, for example coastal sand dune located in Parangtritis coastal area, D.I Yogyakarta. To preserve this unique landscape, local government planned to set conservation status on this coastal sand dune, since it is the only Barchan sand dune in Indonesia and very few on earth. Now that it has conservation status, Parangtritis needed to managed with integrated coastal management. In order to achieve proper management, there have to be problem identification in the course of integrated coastal management and its solution which could be obtained by using DPSIR (Drivers, Pressures, State, Impact, Responses) framework. First step in the process is identifiying component and subcomponent of integrated coastal management in Parangtritis sand dunes perspective. Next step is integrating those components and subcomponents with DPSIR framework to find out the drivers, pressures, state, impact, and responses of the problems. The integration achieved by using correlations matrix.Through DPSIR framework, responses or technological action could be determined. In order to obtain effective and efficient technological action, thus the geospatial approach. This final project reveals that every conservation problems has its own technological action, and geospatial approach resulted to more effective and efficient solutions. |
