This information will be beneficial to set the profit range, state the sale, and finally dominate the market. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mechanical-Production Engineering Laboratory ITB has developed a concept for more than ten years, named “Autonomous Distributed Manufacturing System (ADiMS)”. ADiMS is a progressive manufacturing system which integrates the manufacturing information system and manufacturing processes itself and also solves problems from simple objects to the complex ones. ADiMS is also able to be used to make a calculation of manufacturing cost <br /> <br /> <br /> become autonomously and effectively. <br /> <br /> <br /> This research will develop a web-based software which have the ability to calculate the cost of mould making in casting processes production business unit based on AdiMS. <br /> <br /> <br /> Casting processes is one of production business unit that needs costing information system, due to the large application in industrial world. This software was made and developed by utilize Oracle version 8 as database and ASP (Active Server Pages) as web-based programming language. <br /> <br /> <br /> In the future, this software could be used for other production business unit such as grinding, coating, machining production, and welding production unit. For the next development, this software is expected to be more detail in calculating cost of mould making so that the result will be more accurate and more close to the reality. text
