Required a study concerning the determination of the exact location in the construction of solar power generation facilities . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Efficient use of solar power generator facilities is strongly influenced by cloud cover at the installation location . The solar energy potential map of the island of Sulawesi and the surrounding area based on the distribution of cloud cover from January to October 2013 . Solar energy potential map is generated by a combination of ISODATA classification method and the weighted sum overlay on daily AVHRR imagery. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The information generated from cloud cover map is expected to serve as the initial study for the next review of determining the potential of solar energy in a certain location at a certain period by using remote sensing technology. text
