Summary: | The diversity of bathymetrical data in Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) shall be well integrated and managed. This can be achieved by designing proper bathymetrical data into a geospatial database system. This system could be used as a preliminary data to help the governance to make decision and regional development planning. Difficulties encountered in the management of bathymetrical data are how to analyze the quality of bathymetrical data in a geospatial database that has a different survey method, data format, data resolution, and geodetic reference system. Based on the problems mentioned above, this study will analyse the quality of bathymetrical data using wide scale grid system as a basis for the weighting method as the unit of analysis. Bathymetrical data quality scores based on the value of data are obtained from assessment experts with reference to the bathymetrical data, and priority weights between data calculated using the weighting method (pairwise comparisons and ranked) to get the value of bathymetrical data quality index (IKB). The results show that the determination of the quality of bathymetrical data using the weighting method based on the grid system can present a wide scale distribution of data quality information per grid data based on the results of the validation. Bathymetrical data management using a grid system can present the wide scale distribution of data with good quality based on the results of the analysis, which showed that the results are still relevant to real conditions |
