The result of the statistical description shows that SLA variation has the minimum value of -0.525 m, average value of 0.002 m, and the maximum value of 0.397 m. Based on the temporal variation of SLA over the western Java Sea, the dominant phenomena that affect SLA consist of sun position above the equator (6 months period), monsoon phenomenon and earth position relative to the sun in the form of equinox and solstice (1 year period), and also El Niño Southern Oscillation or ENSO (2-5.5 years period). |
