It used to be a family company with simple organization so that the company policy still had familiarity nature. Entered the year 2008 the competition getting tighter and it pushed PT Ibnu Taryu to change the company to be more profesional and have a functional organizational structure.The journey will create a new challenge because they need a fundamental change inside the company. PT Ibnu Taryu has had an organizational structure that contains eight teen jobs on five departements and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for each departement. The major problem at PT Ibnu Taryu is turnover rate of employee were high. Compensation is one of the factors that could support such role. The first condition in a compensation system must be fairness that must be perceives by employee and employer.First stage of determining of salary system is job analysis and deliver jobs description. Futhermore, the job evaluation process by FES method. It is a point method with nine factors to assess value of the job. The job value within the Company then compares with industrial salary to fulfill external competitiveness.Based on process that fullfill the requirements of internal alignment and external competitiveness the suggested salary structure was separating PT Ibnu Taryu into four level with different range of salary.Salary system can be implemented according to company’s resources. Implementation of payment system is expected to create benefit for all party inside PT Ibnu Taryu. text
