Case of study taken at I1ir Barat Permai mixed land use in Palembang. Result of the interview survey taken from the visitors (non employees) obtain that the store was the most visited land use, account of 33% of respondents visiting this type of land use, then supermarket was visited by 22% of respondents, restaurant 13%, and cinema 12.5%. From this interview was obtained that private car was the most transportation mode used by the visitors account of 48.1% of the respondents, then public transport 30%, motorcycle 12.4%, and walking 5.5%. Interview survey also conducted with the respondents that taken from the employees of Ilir Barat Permai mixed land use. The survey indicated that the public transport is the most transportation mode used by the employees, in account of 62.9%, then motor cycle 15.9%, walking 12.1%, private car 5.7%, office car 1.8%, the other mode 0.8%, taxi 0.5%, and bicycle 0.4 %. From the 10997 visitors and 18504 m2 GFA was obtained the trip generation 0. 59 person/m2. Observation survey was obtained that the maximum parking accumulation were 361 vehicles for passenger cars, 250 for motor cycles and 8 for taxis. The average parking duration for passenger cars and taxis was 1 hour 24 minutes/vehicle, motor cycle was 1 hour 52 minutes/vehicle. Parking Turn Over for passenger cars and taxis was 4.58 vehicles/parking space. Occupancy for motor cycle was 2.1 people/vehicle, taxi 1.5 people/vehicle, and parking index for passenger car and taxi 84%. The mixed land use was needed 367 parking spaces for cars on the maximum accumulation, but if the land use was single it was needed 687 parking spaces. From planning calculation, parking spaces requirement with gross floor area that had been utilized (18504 m2) was needed 248 spaces. If all of gross floor area being utilizes (51542 m2), then the total parking space requirement increases to 689 text |
