With reservoir character which is sandstone fill with oil or gas, makes Acoustic Impedance inversion is less sensitive because the reservoir has high P-wave velocity but low densities. Extended Elastic Impedance which is one of a new interpretation tool, expected will be better to identify the sandstone lithology because this technique makes an approach straight to one of the character of the reservoir.<p>Unavailability S-wave log which is very important to be used in EEI process, was predicted with Lee (2005) method as approach to Biot-Gassmann theory. However the method has some limitation which are, the method must be applicated on sediment fluid saturated, on sandstone and shale sediment. The result of EEI inversion that show the type of EEI inversion which good to mapping sandstone are Mu-Rho, Porosity, and Gamma-ray. And the type of EEI inversion which good to show hidrocarbon are Porosity, Poisson\'s Ratio, and Mu- Rho.<p>This study has 5 wells as a reference to be used in EEI inversion, therefore the ouputs of inversion must be averaged to get better result. Standardization method was used to average the outputs of EEI inversion to produce better contrast of lithology or reservoir identification which is shown on the southeast of the study area. <br /> text
