In this research, hydrothermal alteration mineral at KRH 5-2 well was studied to understand the interaction between fluid and rock, and processes undergoing the fluid. <br /> KRH 5-2 well located in Karaha area at elevation 1445 to -382.93 m, with direction N200oE and inclination 45o. Analysis of mineral alteration used petrography method and X ray diffraction, and fluid inclusion, water chemistry data, temperature and pressure of KRH 5-2 well, indicated that the reservoir fluid had boiling process, causing drop of top of reservoir about 246 meters and formed vapor reservoir zone. Boiling process in reservoir zone indicated by chalcedony quartz and chlorite deposition fills rock pore. In addition, the reservoir fluid has undergone some processes i.e cooling, increasing potassium (K) content, and mixing with condensate water. text |
