The building of micro-hydro electrical generators in some places all over Indonesia can help the realization of government program to increase electrification ratio. This thesis research is made to use Google Earth to observe electrical potential of a river stream. This thesis observe electrical potential along Citarik River, Sukabumi Regency, above 24 m until 450 m from mean sea level. The potential divide into several generators by using cascade system method. Head data is gained from Google Earth simulator and the debit from Hydrological Survey. After the calculation of debit design and effective head, the study is to simulate turbine design and initial simulation various components of the micro-hydro electrical generators. The simulation results show great electrical power potential of Citarik River at least 15,748 MW and annual power of 82,771 GWH. text
