IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF PT. XYZ THROUGH GAP ANALYSIS

XYZ Ltd. is a public company in Indonesia, which is engaged in the integrated energy. Line of Business XYZ Ltd included in the field of exploration and production of oil and gas, downstream industries: the production of LPG, diesel fuel distribution and power generation. As a multinational company with a large portfolio, domestic and international, offering diversification opportunities and risks in the wider geological formations. The company is facing challenges from both inside and outside the company, and also, People, Environment & Geopolitics - Globalization, and the rise of alternative energy. <br /> <br /> <br /> These things are encouraging companies to make changes to the organization, with the aim, to have a single coordinated business, effective management, and a strong focus on Human Capital Management, a business that is more effective and efficient. But after this organizational change, there has been an indication of low business performance. To overcome this problem the company should re-analyze the factors that affect business performance. <br /> <br /> <br /> The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with the approach of explorative. The data obtained through interviews with the Manager Performance Management, employees, study corporate documents, and literature study. To obtain current <br /> <br /> <br /> data the authors photographing current state of the company by spreading the questionnaires to employees of XYZ Ltd and comparing the results of questionnaires with secondary data,which is previous studies and research. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the review of company documents, interviews and analysis of predictors showed that there is a very strong influence of good Performance Management to the Business Performance. Furthermore GAP analysis using descriptive analysis found that there are indicators that have a low value in the eyes of the respondent or great GAP to the ideal conditions of an enterprise.The final results of this study will help XYZ Ltd mapping some of the indicators that have the highest level of urgency to the lowest. And then create programs that could be the <br /> <br /> <br /> correct strategy of XYZ Ltd to improve Business Performance PT. XYZ in the future.
