Summary:Indonesia is an archipelago and most of its territory consists of the ocean. Geographical, geological and demography of Indonesia is included in vulnerable condition that can affect the development in an area. Tsunami disaster that occurred in the coastal region in 2006 resulted in South Ciamis area suffered severe damage. The existence of this disaster makes the coastal region of South Ciamis need to be mapped and analyzed from various aspects of coastal development perspective which results can be used as consideration for the rehabilitation and reconstruction in post-disaster. Social aspect, economic, environment and legal. These aspects will be included in the mapping problem consist of several entities that play a role in the development of coastal areas. Coastal communities have a full range of livelihoods to fulfill their needs of life, for example is fishing. By classifying the data obtained, that will solve the social changes of coastal communities problems on the map in accordance with aspects of the study that will facilitate the decision-making to resolve the issue
