Equipment oftenly did not operate at <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> optimal condition because the capacity that has been planned did not met with <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> availability of raw material, so desinging equipment capacity become more <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> important. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This research represented a model to solve capacity desinging problem at <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> distillation unit simultaneously with multi periode scenario production planning. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Model formulation is mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) with <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> performance measure is to maximize profit along with production planning’s <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> horizon. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The model consist of patchouli oil agroindustry system which integrate plant <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> cultivation and processing industry. The model consider availability standart <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> measure of distillation unit in desinging. Production planning in this model <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> consist of harvesting, purchasing, production, inventory, sales, dan equipment <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> invesment. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Example of model application on patchouli oil agroindustry plan with 7.5 ha total <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> square area, step by step planting, with 2 years planning horizon, need distillation <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> unit with capacitiy of 300 kg dry leaves per batch. The profit (PV) earned will be <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> IDR 351,617,600,- with production cost will be IDR 155,544.81 per kgs oil. Multi <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> period scenario on equipment capacity planning summarize better result compare <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> to single period scenario, which production cost per patchouli oil kgs is higher <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> which is IDR 159,523.61
