Description
Summary:The implementation of CORS as a new technology in mapping world has a limitation when being used as a method for RTK position determination. This research is objected to prove the effectivity level of CORS base station correction on RTK method which related to the length of baseline base with the rover. The method used is measurement data modeling with plotting Δeasting-Δnorthing and Δelevation the measurement result of RTK CORS and a statical observation related to the length of baseline. The deviation standard resulted from each measurement between baseline is for this range of baseline ~4.5 km σdH = 0.10 m and σdV = 0.04 m, range of baseline ~15.1 km σdH = 0.11 m and σdV = 1.35 m, range of baseline ~19.5 km σdH = 0.23 m and σdV = 1.27 m, range of baseline ~48.8 km σdH = 0.49 m and σdV=1.06 m, range of baseline ~95.3 km σdH = 0.22 m and σdV = 0.49 m, range of baseline ~137.5 km σdH = 0.54 m and σdV=0.27 m, and range of baseline ~141 km σdH = 10.61 m and σdV=3.98 m. The comparing result of plotting and data standard deviation generally shows a decreasing measurement accuracy alongside to an increasing baseline range. As for the other factors such as observation time difference and tools application (for short and medium length baseline) does not apply significant effect thus it can be ignored for a measurement with low accuracy.
