The data obtained from multibeam instrument needs to calibrate prior processing to have a good quality of multi beam data. This calibrate is called the patch test . The purpose of this study is to determine the calibration value, to explain steps of calibration, and to analyze the influences of patch test to the multibeam data by comparison method. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The conclusion of this study is the correction of patch test can be determined in multibeam data to get the good quality of survey data. The characteristics of patch test correction object influent to the quality of the calibration value on multibeam data. The characteristics of the correction object that influence the sea depth, the difference of objects depth, the quality of object that been scanned by multibeam echo sounder, the noise effects which is appeared, and the types of multibeam that is used for marine survey. <br /> text
