Summary:Sea boundary is very important in terms of the integrity of the sovereignty of a country, especially the Indonesian archipelago which is an insight that has vast sea. Maritime boundary very big impact on bilateral relations, regional and national economic activity and preservation of the marine environment. But this sea boundary problems often occur between bordering countries. In this study, the problems that have occurred either already completed or not completed will be inventoried, identified, classified and look for a solution that does not harm the bordering countries. United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) in 1982 will be a reference in resolving problems or disputes that occurred in Indonesia because Indonesia has ratified UNCLOS in 1982 on December 31, 1985 in Law. 17, 1985. Sea is very important because it has a biological resource and non-biological abundant. Boundaries of the various problems experienced Indonesian waters with neighboring countries, mostly the result of the natural resources that benefit the economy of the country. This occurs as a result of the government do not really care to the outer islands of Indonesia became the location of the base which is a determinant of maritime borders with neighboring countries Indonesia.
