Globalization also produces problems which communication problem caused by the human (in this case, employees) interaction is one of them. The purpose of this research is to compare between national and multinational company in Indonesia, in area study of Jababeka industrial estate, West Java, in terms of causality relationship.

This research imply statistical tool so called Structural Equation Modeling, in this case the method of Maximum Likelihood Estimation, to have the model. The exogenous variables will be Interculturally Competent Leader and Cross-Cultural Communication, and the endogenous variables will be Communication Effectiveness, Communication Satisfaction and Team Work. Data was taken from 510 questionnaires distributed among

middle and lower level employees of industries in Jababeka Area who have experience as a leader. Sample was chose with simple random sampling technique.

The research questions were dominated by the idea ofnational company tend to have higher level of cross-cultural communication effectiveness, satisfaction and team work, and multinational companies tend to have cross-cultural communication problem. The research result showed exactly another way around. Multinational companies have 'better' quality in cross-cultural communication attributes. So that national companies need to do something real to cope with this, in order to patch up the bargaining position in facing the global tough competition.
