Beside that, the geological structures are interesting to study, such as faults which is influenced by tectonic of Java. Good outcrops are the main data of research so that geological conditions can be explained in detail. <br /> <br /> <br /> Research area has coordinate UTM Zona -49, WGS 84, 217500-220500 mT and 9174000-9178000 mU. The morphology of research area are hills and valleys that controlled by lithology and geological structures, it is proved by the presence of dendritic stream pattern and lineaments. Southern part of the research area dominated by steep hills, consists of volcanic sedimentary material that is resistant to erosion. While the northern part consists of hills with relatively uniform and soft sedimentary material, direction of dip to the north and angle between 10o - 30o. Field observations showed variation in stratigraphic rock units, from old to young are Breccia Unit (Middle Miocene) consist of volcanic breccia rocks, Sandstone – Claystone Unit (Middle Miocene – Late Miocene) consist of interbeded sandstone and claystone, and Sandstone Unit (Late Miocene – Early Pliocene) consist of calcareous sandstone. Based on stratighraphical profile, granulometric, and micropaleontology analysis, the development of sedimentation in marine environment and gravity system deposition mechanism (turbidite). Compression regime in Plio – Pleistocene produced faults in the research <br /> <br /> <br /> area, they are Kalangsari Right Strike-slip Fault, Sukasari Right Strike-slip Fault, and Pasir Sireum Left Strike-slip Fault. This tectonic period also caused an uplift so that the research area become continent. text
