Description
Summary:Indonesia is a country that has the greatest potential for geothermal energy in the world. Recorded, 40% of geothermal energy in the world, or nearly about 29.000 MW owned by the state of Indonesia. But so far, only 4% or approximately 1.160 MW was used for electricity generation. For that reason, identification of the characteristics of reservoir needs to be done to continuously develop the potential of existing energy. Modeling of geothermal systems is the great way to be done as a powerful source of information in the field of geothermal development. Simulation modeling of the geothermal system will illustrate the distribution of thermodynamic parameters such as pressure and temperature at the initial state of geothermal systems and changes in thermodynamic parameters due to the production process. The simulation results will provide information used as the basis for calculating the estimated potential for geothermal energy that can be exploited, even for the next few years
