PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk is a company engaged in consumer goods industry. This company has a mission to become the first and the best in its class; to meet the needs and aspirations of consumers. One of the constraints in the operational activities of the company is keeping a balance between supply and demand. Therefore, provision is needed. The research in this thesis will discuss the level of supply of raw materials used in the production process in a factory by the name PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, which is a Non Soap detergent (NSD) factory. The current management system used in order to meet the supply of raw materials is based on experience, and it does not use any calculation. This became one of the causes of a lack in raw materials in the warehouse of NSD factory. To have a system organizing the supply of raw materials, PT Unilever Indonesia plans to implement Raw Pack and Inventory Planning Model. The research will conduct a measurement of the supply level of raw materials based on the model; a comparison to the level of inventory at this time (actual stock), and an analysis of the customer service towards the actual problems associated with the shortage of raw materials. The results of the analysis will provide the management this particular model. Theoretically, the model is not applicable on a case of managing inventory of raw materials that has a dependent demand. In this thesis, it is recommended to have a Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system for the supply management of raw materials and lot‐sizing techniques, as well as for determining the lot size of the orders. To implement the recommendations on the MRP system are necessary stages that involve the parties related to the company. First, the development of the system will be done with the help of a computer program Microsoft Excel. The next phase is introducing the system for the parties related to the company. Before MRP system will be applied to testing the system for 6 months and evaluate this system will be conducted each month.
