The growth of idea in <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Non-Nusantara Architecture (Western Architecture) exactly can be used as a tool to do the preservation of Arsitektur Nusantara in this contemporary era. Javanese Public Space, as one of Javanese Architecture form, has differences characteristic from the general form of Public Space, especially in Western one. This <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> matter earn because of the difference between understanding of "space" according to Javanese knowledges and western knowledges. This Thesis will study concerning about public space concept in Javanese <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> society, and apply the result of studies in an architectural design by using Non- Nusantara Architecture knowledge. Theory of Disjunctive Architecture is used as method to "operating on" the truth of Javanese Public Space, without setting out <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> nostalgic and romantic attitude of Arsitektur Tradisional and Nusantara. text
