Description
Summary:Over time , the need for minerals in Indonesia has increased . This is due to the rapid advancement of the metal industry in this country , and one of the minerals that are needed is manganese . It takes exploration method that effectively and efficiently to find the source of the mineral manganese . Induced Polarization Method is a method based geophysical electrical works utilize the principle of the working principle of the capacitor is applied to the rock . By using the method of induced polarization chargeability values can be determined from a rock . Chargeability is one of the important properties of metal material . By knowing the value of chargeability on rocks , can be seen on the mineral content of the rocks . Measurements will be performed by a laboratory measurement method by examining rock samples taken from the area of Sumbawa , West Nusa Tenggara . Measurements will be performed by two different methods of measurement to determine the IP events that occur with these methods . Furthermore, the results of both methods will be compared to determine the actual value of the material chargeability .
