The time and cost spent in geological surveys when characterizing the karst area can be reduced with the technology of remote sensing. The method used in this research is by classifying fusion image and linear features density image of Cipatat Subdistrict using region growing method classification. Linear features density image were obtained from linear features of two frame images of ALOS PALSAR ascending and descending mode, while the fusion images of Cipatat Subdistrict were joint images from double band data ALOS AVNIR-2 with single band data ALOS PALSAR polarimetric. The result of the region grown method classification are shown as different class characteristics of land surface of the Cipatat Subdistrict. text |
