This research is part of final assignment undergraduate in Geological Major Bandung Institute of Technology that aimed geological mapping in IUP area Indika Energy Company. The research area is located in Bosubah River, Yahukimo District, Papua Province with ±12km2 wide area and geographically located at coordinates 139o 15’ 36,6588”-139o 17’ 46,1954” Longitude and 4o 37’ 47,9390”-4o 39’ 25,9160” Latitude. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The research method using geological method such as field data collecting, lab and studio analysis to obtain outcrop location, geomorphological map, and geological map. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Geomorphological units in the research area consist of Monoclinal Valley Unit, Cuesta Unit, and Alluvial Deposits. Geomorphic stage is on early stage founded by trapezoid facet in the Cuesta Unit. Stratigraphy of research area consists of 4 unofficially lithological units. These units from old to young is as follows, Sandstone Unit, Sandstone - Claystone Unit, and Claystone Unit which are referred as Buru Formation age Middle Miocene – Early Pliocene and alluvial deposit. In the research areas are found coal outcrop thickness ± 80cm and ± 40cm. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Geological structures occurred is Bosubah Normal Fault which oriented in southwest – northeast with Pliocene - Pleistocene age estimated.
