Therefore, the government set rattan and bamboo furniture industry as a priority industry developed in Indonesia in accordance with Presidential Decree no.28 of 2008 on the National Industrial Policy (KIN), the government judged it necessary to make national policy on rattan commodities. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> However, the potential of rattan is then not make the Indonesia rattan Manufacture product become victorious, the current availability of rattan raw materials in the country shows that the value decreases from year to year. There was also a decline in export performance in industrial products such as rattan and rattan furniture which began in 2006. It also led the industry's competitiveness in the domestic rattan goods lately decreased (going deindustrialization), on the other hand rattan industry in competing countries is growing, resulting in control of the world market rattan goods shifted to such countries. Currently the government has made policy on commodities such as rattan, with export ban of raw and semi-finished rattan, but the policy may have an impact on a variety of things. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This study was conducted to analyze the quantitative effects arising from the presence of a given government's policies. This study uses a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) is a general equilibrium model to analyze the impact of a policy of good economic performance in each sector and the multisector. There are four policy scenarios in this study is the provision of export tax, an increase in export taxes, export bans and restrictions (quotas) for the export of raw and semi-finished rattan. Simulation results of the chosen policy is a policy with the biggest index. The decision of policy implementation is by using 20% export tax. text
