The research area is located in Cidora Village, Lumbir District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. Geographic coordinate is 274500 - 279300 mE and 9174750 – 9170450 (UTM WGS 84 49S) with an area of approximately 20,64 km2. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The research area is divided into two geomorphological units, such Homoclinal Hills Unit and Folded Hills Unit. The river patterns of research area are parallel, rectangular, and trellis. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The formation which exposed in research area are Rambatan Formation, Halang Formation, and Kumbang Formation. The stratigraphy of research area is divided into four lithological units, from bottom to top, such Sandstone Unit of Middle Miocene, Calcarenite – Claystone Unit of Middle Miocene, Sandstone – Claystone Unit of Upper Miocene – Lower Pliocene, and Breccia Unit of Lower <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Pliocene. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There are lot of geological structures in research area, such as strike and dip, Karangjati Anticline, Munjul Anticline, Munjul Sincline, Karanggayam Thrust <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Fault, Gunung Salam Thrust Fault, Salak Strike-Slip Fault, Munjul Strike Slip Fault, Cinambrak Strike –Slip Fault, Karanggayam Strike – Slip Fault, and Cidora <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Strike – Slip Fault. The age of gological structures are interpreted in Plio-Pleistosen Epoch and influenced by main force with Northeast - Southwest direction.
