This job certainly requires a high precisions to be able to analyze the causes of the accident in order to represent the actual scene. In general, the police take measurements in a conventional way by using the measuring tape. Measurements in this way can take quite a long time, therefore, we need a method to facilitate and speed up the data retrieval time so as not to impede the course of the traffic. Close range photogrammetry is one of the method that can facilitate the modeling of objects just by using a simple device that is non-metric cameras. This method csn perform 3- dimensional modeling of the object being observed with the processing of data from at least 2 pictures that overlap. Data processing is done by marking points on the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> detail objects using Photogrammetry Digital software. Accident reconstruction process can then be performed by comparing the information from the witnesses and the evidences that have been collected in the form of animated scene of the accident reconstruction from the resulting 3D model. This reconstruction process is done using ArcGIS software. In this final project, the simulated accident has been created to be able to build the 3D models with 1 cm accuracy. text
