This study attempts to determine a location priority ranking for the intercity bus terminal in Jogjakarta as a substitute for the existing terminal at Umbulhardjo. The proposed terminal locations are Depok Area, Jombor Area and Giwangan Area. The criteria that are used, are road infrastructure availability, traffic condition around the terminal, integration with public transport, local accessibility, inter terminal connections, land availability, topographic condition, and surrounding environmental condition. The Model used to determine the location priority ranking is The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method. The developed hierarchy structure contains three levels. The first level is objectives, that is determination of inter-city bus terminal location priority ranking, the second level is terminal criteria to satisfy the goal, the third level is alternative locations to support the determination of terminal location according to the criteria. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The first step is a pilot survey on 18 respondents, the second step is the primary survey on 100 student respondents in Jogjakarta who use buses actively. The results gained from processing data are ranking of bus terminal locations. The order is as follows: 1. Giwangan area, with a value of 675.08 2. Depok area, with a value of 662.74 3. Jombor area, with a value of 634.63 The consistency ratio result is 5,55 %, indicating the derived weightings of criteria have a good consistency and are accountable. For further study, all stakeholders have to be induded in the decision making process text
