Natural disaster is a combination of human and nature activity. The ability to prevent disaster and human endurance will determine the loss resulting in natural disaster. Disaster is a result of threat and powerlessness. Powerlessness means lack of information and knowledge to anticipate and act when disaster come. That is why the project of natural disaster information <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> center becomes very important. This facility is aimed to be the information center of predisaster (sign of disaster), during the disaster (what to do during the disaster), and post disaster (prevent the upcoming disaster and how to survive in such condition) to reduce the material and non-material loss. This information is presented to be more recreative as the museum, library, auditorium, two way information, such as consultation, and mental recovery. There is also a research lab, which act as a connector to the other natural disaster <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> facility. When designing the interior of this project, analysis and further observation on natural disaster, information presenting thematically, to make it more informative and recreative are needed. Those were needed in order to create and increase the room quality. So it can function properly as the design decisions and assessments agreed upon as a design theme (dynamic, modern and thematic). The target of the room quality was a thematic room fit to its area, Visitor can feel the atmosphere of the disaster, so the information presented can be absorbed properly. Problems and need in the designing process could be formulate from the purpose of this project. The problems were creating a modern dynamic room and recreatively thematic exhibiton which could optimally inform.That concept was a guidance in designing this facility, in order to reach the target of this facility. The implementations are the dynamic and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> thematic shape, tha color gradation which expressed the time changes and knowledge to create development, material that support the concept, scenario showrooms as well as an interactive information system both from a visual, tectile, audio, and space.
