Education is one of the human needs that must be fullfilled both formally and informally. Education includes the human needs in terms of physiological and social. The growing needs of education along with the development of the age, social changes, and lifestyle. Deepening and educational materials will be adapted to the age of a person. Further education is an education that’s very important to support career of the person so that’s should be adapted to the interests of each individual. Movies and television are one of the creative industries sector that’s more calculated its presence in human life. The development of movies and television making this sector as one of human needs in daily life. Movies and television sectors requires professional technicians in this field to support the process of manufacture. To deepen the movies and television sector and produce movies and TV output quality, specialized education required to learn this creative industry sector. However, for the deepening of the educational needs of a facility that specifically explore the sector. In Indonesia, which movies and television sector growing rapidly, education especially movies and television was still a little encounter. Inversely with an increasing public interest to continue studies in this field. Much of this education enthusiasts switch taking education abroad due to lack of education in Indonesia. Procedures and equipment costs become a problem of this lack of education. There are only a few universities in Indonesia which specifically studied movies and television. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Movies and Television Academy is a formal school that had an interest in movies and television. At this academy learned the procedure of making a movie and television shows in terms of technical professionals with adequate facilities. That’s should be expected to accommodate the someone interests of education for quality education needs in the field of film and television with educational equipment and procedures adequate to generate employment in the professional field of film from a technical standpoint. Professional labor force in the field of cinema and television can support the development of creative industries of film and television in Indonesia.
