Indonesia as a country that has the third largest area of tropical forest could make the forest area as a commodity in the world of carbon trading. ITB are going to do some research in carbon trading program in Indonesia. This research covers manufacturing of spatial database systems and create a model of WebGIS in the carbon trading program. This WebGIS model has a 360o panoramik photo features so that users can experience the virtual reality effect because the image or picture are the actual environmental conditions. The results of the studies is a system to manage the spatial data and create a model of WebGIS which has a user friendly interface. This WebGIS model is expected to attract the donor countries to invest in Indonesia's forest area. |
