The process resulted in a narrowed of the flow of water, and causes a decrease in the age and value of rivers and water reservoirs. Reduced capacity and volume triggered by heavy rainfall may impact on the overflow, which leads to economic and social losses. The process of erosion and excessive sedimentation occurs in the Citarum River and several of its tributaries caused by the transfer of land use. One of the tributaries with erosion and sedimentation occurred is Gedebage River, West Java. Patterns of erosion and sedimentation of streams should be identified to determine appropriate mitigation measures, so that negative impacts can be prevented. One of technique that can be used to identify patterns of erosion and sedimentation of the river is the use of Terrestrial Laser Scanner technology. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The methodology used in this research is the study of literature, carrying out data collection, data processing, as well as comparing the three-dimensional models to identify erosion and sedimentation of both measurements. Measurements were taken in March and April 2014. Both of three-dimensional models then compared to obtain the vector erosion and sedimentation, as well as the volume changes that occur. The results showed the estimated volume in March of 1555.490 m3, and in April of 1565.309 m3. The total volume changes that occur during the period amounted to +9.82 m3. In the period of March and April 2014 there has been a process of erosion of -2.29 m3, and the process of sedimentation by +12.11 m3. The problem faced is the noise due to the vegetation cover of grass are still present in the data. text |
