Currently, PT. Pos Indonesia is experiencing problems in increasing the number of transactions on financial services products because not all financial service products have equitable growth. Weselpos domestic product is a product which has decreased the number of transactions from year to year about 11.70%. In accordance with these problems, the final project will discuss the formulation of business strategy and implementation plan to increase the number of transactions weselpos domestic product.In formulating business strategies for weselpos domestic product, the business environment situation analysis carried out based on internal factors and external factors that have an impact directly or indirectly on the growth of the business. The analysis of the external company acquired the opportunities and threats faced by weselpos domestic products current and future, while the internal analysis obtained on the strengths and weaknesses of the domestic weselpos business. Business situation is depicted in the form of a SWOT analysis (Strength,Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat). From the SWOT analysis will get root cause of decline in the number of transactions weselpos domestic product. To address the root of the problem, the appropriate strategy is formulated using a TOWS Matrix and business model is used to strengthen the developed strategies which are used as the implementation plan. The Data for analysis is conducted from PT. Pos Indonesia research and focus group discussion with the financial service business development. From the analysis result can be concluded that the root cause problem is PT. Pos Indonesia insensitive to the change of business environment. The proposed strategic position is the differentiation in the process of delivering services to consumers, from human-based become automatic based. The business strategies that are proposed are based approach to business models and TOWS Matrix. The strategies are focused on increasing customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty. The implementation of the strategy consist of: create new products portfolio auto-service based, develop the existing products through the development of transaction process, making customer relationship management, and create the right marketing program. The implementation plan that will be done is the follow up of the strategies. The implementation plan is accordance to the corporate revitalization program which is for 1 year period during 2013. |
