Summary: | Bridge loading code has changed for some years in Indonesia. The new bridge loading code plan, RSNI T-02-2005 will replace an old code that has been commonly used, known as BMS 1992. The differences between these codes are used as variables to review a case study in impacts of the new bridge loading code to Tengku Agung Sultanah Latifah Cable Stayed Bridge Structure. This bridge was built in 2004 in Siak Sri Indra Pura, Kabupaten Siak, Province of Riau. Study in the impact of new loading code is aimed to determine changes in behavior of the bridge structure caused by imposition of the new code relative to behavior of existing bridge structure. Behavior of structure will be reviewed only at forces, stresses, and capacity of bridge deck section. This study will be modeled as structural models on SAP 2000 based on real data from project documents. Loads that will be applied to the structural models consist of self weight, super imposed dead load, UDL, KEL, settlement load, temperature load, and earthquake load. This study will also consider about construction stages that affects dead load of the bridge. These loads will be combined with specific factors in both service and ultimate conditions. Result of analysis will be showed as changes of forces, stresses, and capacity of bridge deck sections. |
