It is located in the North Palembang Anticlinorium, Rimau Block, South Sumatra Basin.

Several oil fields in this area come from interval of Talang Akar Formation. Focus in this study are Talang Akar Formation and Lemat Formation which are Reservoir-1, Reservoir-2, Reservoir-3, and Reservoir-4. The main purposes of this study are collect and evaluate the subsurface data to determine vertical and lateral distribution of facies and depositional facies, and

determine potential reservoir map. Several methods have been performed in order to achieve those main purposes which are, first is well data analysis which are

lithofacies analysis from core and core chip of seven wells by biostratigraphy and petrography integration, electrofacies analysis from wireline log data of seven wells, and well to well correlation using parasequence set concept. Second is 2D seismic data analysis from six composite lines which are determine time structure map,

isochrone map, and cross plot between isochrone and gross sand to determine gross sand isopach map. Third is interpration of reservoir distribution which is related to trend of sedimentation. The results are, there are twenty one lithofacies indicating several depositional facies, Aluvial Fan, Braided River, Meandering River, Delta, Fan-Delta, Beach, and Reef Platform. Facies of Reservoir-1 are Debris Flow Breccias and Longitudinal Bar. Facies of Reservoir-2 are Debris Flow Breccias, Point Bar and Longitudinal Bar. Facies of Reservoir-3 are Point Bar and Longitudinal Bar. Facies of Reservoir-4 are Channel Mouth Bar, Fan Delta Front, and Longitudinal Bar. Distribution of four reservoir intervals is Southeast-Northwest. text
