One of the important characteristics of this sea breeze circulation is the horizontal extent of sea breeze. sea breeze Circulation in Java has researched the characteristics and onshore extent, but the horizontal extent over the sea is still unknown. Therefore the sea breeze circulation observation using Automatic Weather Station is carried out in the island of Bawean in the middle of the Java Sea which distance of approximately 130 km north from Gresik, East Java. Identification of the sea breeze circulation of the Java Sea on the island of Bawean is required at sea breeze Java occurred. To determine the day of the sea breeze was done with the first two stages, using data from the cloud cover BMKG to know the condition of the sky, then used MTSAT visible satellite image, with sea breeze fronts can be identified in Java so it can be indicated as the day on which the sea breeze circulation occurs. Then to find out the distance from the sea breeze circulation range towards the sea, visible satellite imagery used by looking at the movement of a roll cloud on top of the Java Sea. From the results of observation, in the island of Bawean SALJ detected in the afternoon and the distance range of the Java Sea Breeze circulation toward the sea can reach approximately 250 km. text
