The present research, Chlorella sp. chloroplast as <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> non-foodstuff is examined whether it can be used for a sensitizer of solar cell. To obtain <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> chloroplast, Chlorela sp. cells were cultivated in GM 10% modification medium, harvested, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> homogenized, and centrifuged. Chloroplast obtained is characterized by SDS-PAGE, and the <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> fotovoltaic effects of solar cell sensitized by the chloroplast were measured by a solar <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> simulator. The results of the research showed that the mass of wet chloroplast obtained from <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 g wet cells was 0.0749 g. Protein complexes of the chloroplast identified by SDS-PAGE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> showed protein bands of 68, 54.7, and 26.5 kDa indicating PsaA/PsaB of photosystem I (PS <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I), AtpA of ATP synthase, and apoprotein of light harvesting complexes (LHC) II, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> respectively.
