Description
Summary:The application of maintenance and Statistical Process Control (SPC) are important practices to achieve high product quality, small frequency of failures, and cost reduction of sampling in a production process. There are some points that have not been explored about minimizing the cost of sampling production. Hence, this paper criticism the minimizing cost of sampling production with the failure distribution of machine is considered Gamma, Weibull, and Exponential. Moreover, the control chart ¯X is used to control the product quality and show how the maintenance action with and without interruption influences the cost. The experiments showed that the sampling cost is statistically significant reduced when maintenance with interruption is performed on the processes with high sampling interval.
