| Summary: | The influence of temperature and moisture content on the kinetic of decomposition of potassium clavulanate has been studied. The rate of decomposition was determined by high performance liquid chromatography by monitoring the remaining concentration of potassium clavulanate as a function of time. The increase of temperature and moisture content accelerated the decomposition reaction. The kinetic of decomposition showed that potassium clavulanate in a mixture with Avicel in limited moisture condition followed second order reaction. <br />
