The product of Geospatial Information is a basic map that includes an Earth map of Indonesia (RBI), which refers to Mean Sea Level (MSL) coastline, Coastal Environment map of Indonesia (LPI), and National Marine Environmental map (LLN) that refers to the Lowest Water Level (LWL) coastline. Agency in charge of making the basic map is Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> An accurate coastline is obtained by the different measurement method, depend the appropriate to the scale map given by UU IG. The method used should be effective in terms of time, duration of the work and also must be efficient in terms of cost. To detemine the shoreline, can be determine using four methods, which are Terrestrial method, Global Navigation Satellite System methods (GNSS) method, LIDAR Photogrammetry method, and Remote Sensing method. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To produce RBI map, the coastline is determined using Remote Sensing method for the scale of 1:1,000,000 up to 1:5.000, and GNSS RTK method for the scale of 1:5.000 up to 1:1.000. Moreover to produce LPI map (for the scale of 1:250.000 up to 1:10.000) and LLN map (for the scale of 1:250.000 up to 1:25.000), they can be used Remote Sensing method. text
