| Summary: | Between breaking zone and swash zone, there is a zone as we know surf zone. In the surf zone, after a wave had broken because shoaling, the still water will set down, after that it will set up and across still water level. Then the breaking wave will continue to set up and passing the shoreline (Run up), and create the swash zone. With using the mathematics modeling, we will have the profile of wave set up at the surf zone, after a wave had been breaking in breaking zone. There is same about mild beach and steed, linear and non linear beach. Wave set up knowledge can use to study about hydraulic mechanism at the surf zone. Than it can help in shore protection building design and reclamation. |
