Recently , the growth of vehicle traffic flow is higher on the highway that will affect the operation of toll plazas. <br /> <br /> <br /> The purpose of this study is to assess the toll plaza that has angular tollbooth. The study is to evaluate the performance of the toll plaza, which includes tollbooth capacity, queue, service time, geometric, and problems related to the traffic conflict in the toll plaza. The study was on the toll road KM 18 +600 Jagorawi at Toll Gate Cimanggis. Secondary data obtained from PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, and primary data obtained by field surveys to obtain data of arrival rate and service time at the tollbooth. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of this study, namely service time 9.95 seconds for the parallel tollbooth and 8.12 seconds for the angle tollbooth. These results are still higher than the minimum service standards for toll booths with an open toll collection system, which is 6 seconds. Queue length that occurs either at the parallel or angle tollbooth can still be accommodated by the space available for the queue. This is indicated by volume of the incoming traffic is still smaller than its capacity <br /> <br /> <br /> Toll plaza geometric didnot meet standards. This was indicated by looks at the angle toll booth where departure zone at the toll plaza that do not fit the standard. For the arrival area, the length of queue lanes, is still not long enough or did not meet the required length of the queue lane. Possible conflicts between diverging movement of vehicles at entry into the tollbooth and conflict when exiting tollbooth after a ticket service is high. This conflict can occur, especially since the arrival to or departure from tollbooth do not always occur at the same time. text |
