Moreover, Joint Survey between Indonesia and Malaysia carried out during the period between 1975-1995 showed that the positions of Sinapad and Simantipal river estuaries against graticule 4o20’ N are not the same as that depicted on Treaty 1915 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> annex map. The research was conducted to explore and understand the Treaty 1915 and its annex map technical aspect, to identify Sinapad and Simantipal rivers geographical location which is the case in OBP. The method used is Survey and measurement technical <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> analysis, mapping technical analysis, and interpretation of Treaty 1915 legal document.The result showed that: the assumption that Treaty 1915 annex map is a map with <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Astronomical coordinates using reference elipsoid Bessel 1841 was not correct,Treaty 1915 annex map is adequate as determined from object pattern and structure map analysis, Dutch and British agreed to make the map as a valid document even though the majority of the territory in Treaty 1915 annex map is unilaterally surveyed by the Dutch, and there is no survey carried out in segment from Sinapad river estuary to the east, there the depiction is not quite accurate. text |
