Citarum passes one of the most populous area in Indonesia thus making this study of saline condition of Citarum important because its connection to the availability of clean water. Based on field observation, Muara Gembong has the biggest saline transport during <br /> <br /> <br /> ebb to tide as far as 2,5 km from estuary. Muara Bendera has the saline transport of 9km during tide to ebb. During tide, Muara Byogbong has saline transport of 1,2 km from estuary making the total distance of saline transport 10,2 km. All saline transport happens in nearbottom. In this study, hydrodynamic simulation is simulated for one month, from August 29 – September 29 2014 using MIKE-21 with Flow Model Hydrodynamic module. Tides input for the hydrodynamic model in open boundary taken from MIKE-21 and then verified with the data from field observation. Verification result of tides between simulation and observation shows a good agreement of magnitude and phase with correlation value 0.853 and the furthest saline transport happens in Muara Bendera with total distance ± 8 km.
