Summary:Thin water lm around cable conduces asymmetrical of cable cross section. As the wind involved, this asymmetrical condition will create vibration through the cable. Gravitation, wind, and surface tension are some of the factors that in- uence the dynamic of thin water film around cable. Considering all these three factors, a modifcation of Navier Stokes formula is dened. This new equation is able to model the dynamic of thin water film around a cable under in uences of gravitation, wind, and surface tension. To show the dynamic models, this equation is solved numerically. The solution explains how gravitation, wind, and surface tension in uence the dynamic of thins water film around a cable.
