Summary:ABSTRACT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PT Timah (Persero) Tbk is state-owned company in tin mining which spread area in Bangka-Belitung, Riau Islands and South Borneo. PT Timah Tbk need for high employee commitment and engagement to support business processes, company vision, mission, and <br /> <br /> <br /> goals. In Human Resource management, it is necessary to examine variables affecting employee engagement and employee performance. Based on the analyses, we found dominant variables having effects on the employee engagement, so that solutions might be made for improvement. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Each variable were arranged into questionnaire to be distributed to employee of 17 units n Bangka-Belitung and Kundur Regions comprising operational units and those units in central agency. Respondents were chosen by using stratified sampling method at echelon 3 positions to non-echelon. Analysis used to know the effects of the variables is SEM (Structural Equation <br /> <br /> <br /> Modelling), an analytical technique to simultaneously estimate the effects of the variables. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of the analysis suggest that leadership, organization culture, recognization, ork focused, and compensation variables fell to component 2 are dominant variables affecting employee engagement. While highest loading factor variable in component 2 is organization culture. Organization culture in PT Timah (Persero) Tbk has have modification appropriate to vision, mission, and environmental conditions, both external and internal. It is modification have not been completely conceived by employees. Solution to be applied is establishing socialization from bottom employee level to senior manager and leader provide example of organization cultural application on the job. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Keywords : Employee Engagement, Organization Culture, Structural Equation Modelling
